Ghidini1961 was chosen by Penhaligon's to furnish its Dubai flagship, a new destination in the United Arab Emirates dedicated to lovers of the luxury fragrance house, which celebrates elegance and British heritage.
In the heart of one of the city's most exclusive shopping districts, Dubai Mall, Sweet armchairs and Hillary stools complete the Victorian-inspired interior, exuding timeless charm. To ensure harmonious visual continuity, both seats were upholstered with fabrics supplied by the client: emerald green velvet for the armchairs and a patterned fabric, in a palette matching the space, for the stools.
Inside the flagship, visitors can enjoy a tailor-made experience, welcomed into an environment that combines style and comfort.
Here, the Sweet armchairs, designed by Elisa Giovannoni, stand out for their full, spherical shape, as if a large spoon were hollowing out a seat inside a leavened cake.
Meanwhile, the Hillary stools—named a tribute to Lara Croft's famous butler in Tomb Raider—designed by Richard Hutten, are glamorous, theatrical seats that stand like Hollywood stars around the curved counter.
