Two Men, One Vision and a Unique GHIDINI1961

When you're born into a family with the artisanal skill of taming metal, usually you are destined to take over the family business.
This was the case of Gianni and his younger brother Roberto who were born in the GHIDINI family in the region of Brescia in Italy.

In 1960, Giuseppe Ghidini Senior's rise to prominence was initiated when he moved to Sarezzo, a little town in the Brescia province, when he started his business in manufacturing and distributing metal components for the interior design sector and the architectural industry.

Closer to the end of the 1960’s and the dawn of the 1970’s, a second generation of the Ghidini’s infused themselves into the family business.

Gianni and Roberto Ghidini (the current CEO) helped their father grow the company through a major focus on new product development and a strategic global distribution strategy.

Gianni joined the business at an early age while Roberto followed his brother's footsteps right after high school.

Gianni and Roberto had a clear plan for growth and development, which gave birth to an average of 120 products per year, Ghidini Giuseppe Bosco became a recognized producer of brass components and decorative items around the world, serving hundreds of clients across 70 countries worldwide.

The two brothers led a ground-breaking stratagem to the establishment of a molding department in 1981, which is now identified as one of GHIDINI1961’s major strengths.

This expansion led to the independent and rare creation of casting molds that allowed Ghidini Giuseppe Bosco to own its space thanks to its speed of production and flexibility of designs, which in return, led to a huge surge of growth and market ownership.

Even after Gianni passed away, Roberto did not lose his passion to carry the torch of growth and diversification. Roberto led the efforts to create GHIDINI1961 as a unique boutique furniture brand in 2016; with a multitude of metal-based furniture and accessory lines in seating, lighting, cabinets, tables, shelving, and liveable art.

The 120 thousand square foot headquarters that was inaugurated in 1983 paved the path of growth for the Ghidini’s to reimagine the world of premium design and furniture manufacturing.

For the Ghidini's, their brand GHIDINI1961, is a true embodiment to their childhood dreams and aspirations and a testament to their spirited approach to grow and flourish their heritage and family legacy.
