The Zuan Large Cabinet is a testament to what oriental minimalism and Italian creativity can bring to life. 

 

Paolo Rizzatto honours this elegant combination with a slender structure opposed by four slim legs in gilded metal while highlighting the importance of great aesthetic and functionality of this storage unit. 

 

The central compartment, closed by essential brass handles, has the added refined touch of marble shelves while the upper part of the cabinet is divided into four sections, in turn divided into smaller niches, drawn according to the golden proportion, inscribable in a perfect spiral. Every single Zuan combines four materials in a variable and versatile way: brass, wood, marble and leather. The brass for the support frames and partition walls, the wood for the containers, the marble for the support surfaces and the leather to line the insides of the storage compartment.

“Different cultural needs and references in time and space are combined in the "Zuan" cabinet collection. The timeless classical Chinese cabinets and the eighteenth-century English "chests" are revisited and updated.
