Palazzo Arese Borromeo is the setting for the 2026 new collection shoot

The story of Ghidini1961 continues, with the brand once again choosing a historic palace as the setting to present its latest pieces. After previous exceptional locations, the brand arrives at Palazzo Arese Borromeo in Cesano Maderno: a delightful 17th‑century residence that becomes the perfect backdrop to express the Italian character, elegance, and tactile richness of the new collections.

One of the main noble residences in Lombardy, Palazzo Arese Borromeo is a large, layered architectural complex organized around the Corte Nobile and originally equipped with numerous service spaces: rustic courtyards, kitchens, cellars, an icehouse, a wine cellar, stables, carriage houses, and servants’ quarters.

In these rooms, steeped in history, the furnishings by Ghidini1961 find a new home, creating a dialogue between architectural memory and contemporary design. The protagonists of the shoot are the Settebello modular sofa, the linear‑development lamp Ypsilon, the Tria marble table in its new round form, the Cards console and coffee tables, and the Cono side tables — all designs by Lorenza Bozzoli.

Alongside these pieces are the Lancillotto table, with its clear architectural and classical references; the Unduetre lamp, conceived as a playful balance between its different elements; and the Katana dining chair, which expands the namesake seating family — all new works by Paolo Rizzatto.

Finally, the Dash suspension light in the hexagonal version, designed by Johanna Grawunder.
